6. For incoming mail server field, type “imap.mail.yahoo.com”. For outgoing mail server field, type “smtp.mail.yahoo.com”.
7. After entering accurate account information in the fields, click “More Settings…” option.
8. On the “Internet E-mail Settings” box choose “Outgoing Server”. Check the box that says “My outgoing server requires (SMTP) authentication”.
9. Also click to select “Use same settings as my incoming mail server”.
10. Now go to “Advanced” on the same box. Enter “993 or 143” next to “Incoming server (IMAP):”.
11. For “Outgoing server (SMTP):” type “587”. For incoming server select encrypted connection as SSL.
12. For outgoing server select encrypted connection as TLS or Auto.
13. Finally click “OK” button when above work is finished.
14. After entering everything perfectly a message will come saying “You’re all set”. Click “Finish” button.
15. Now please check your mails through Outlook.

Also restart Outlook to check the results. Just click “Send/Receive All Folders”. Yahoo mail messages will be received through Outlook.

• Server – imap.mail.yahoo.com
• Port – 993
• Requires SSL – absolutely yes

POP SETTINGS FOR YAHOO MAIL:

• Server – pop.mail.yahoo.com
• Requires SSL – absolutely yes
• Port number – 995

SMTP outgoing mail settings:

• Server – smtp.mail.yahoo.com
• Requires SSL – yes
• Requires authentication – yes
• Requires TLS – yes
• Port number – 465 or 587
