Yes, it has been said many times that service plays a key role in the experience that is taken away by a guest. However, many people seem to forget this key factor and leave feeling confused when the food was delicious but they simply did not have a good time out at their breakfast, lunch, dinner, or snack.

To open our article today,Back Bay Restaurant Service Articles I will begin by reviewing last week’s topic: service. Yes, it has been said many times that service plays a key role in the experience that is taken away by a guest. However, many people seem to forget this key factor and leave feeling confused when the food was delicious but they simply did not have a good time out at their breakfast, lunch, dinner, or snack. Well the answer is this: service can make or break your experience when dining out at a Back Bay Restaurant. Last week, the first few minutes of being a part of service were described, but this week we will tread deeper into the topic of excellent service.

Picture this: you are at a restaurant and just sat down. Shortly after you are escorted to your desired table, a server comes over with warm welcome asking you how your day is going so far and if they can bring you a refreshment. No matter what your reply to the question is, you still feel great because to put it simply- you were asked. This server seems to care about your needs and is willing to help you- with a smile! Feeling wonderful you are ready to read the menu. After skimming through a few appetizers and wanting it all, your server is back with a few suggestions. And yes, these suggestions do agree with the drink you’re currently sipping.

At this point, there is a decision you must make, and it very well may be the only difficult decision you need to make all night because by this time, it is recognizable that you will not need to do anything strenuous; not at this Back Bay Restaurant. The decision is this: should you trust your server and take all of their suggestions with the recommended appetizer and entree or should you take the time to read the menu extensively and decide for yourself? Although many would agree this decision is not difficult by any means- it is a decision and it could turn out wonderfully well or perhaps, wonderfully bad. On one hand, you could take the servers suggestion and perhaps try something new and delicious that you would have thought to be disagreeable with your tastes until tried and loved. Or perhaps you could study the menu and be able to recommend a dish to your friend that like a particular item on the menu. However, if the latter is chosen, you may leave feeling a little upset that you did not branch out and try something new. Sometimes, it seems that even though we are totally satisfied with your choice of dish, we feel incomplete when we leave because we know that we didn’t try something new that has the potential to be better than our usual desired dish.

No matter what you choose, the appetizer is brought first and in just enough time to finish our first drink.  Here is where we will pick up next time, enjoy!
