Everywhere I turn I hear and see mounds of information on our current health care issues in America. I actually heard a radio report that President Obama said that if the insurance industry gets any worse it could actually bankrupt the United States. Don't let me scare you but I did say bankrupt! Although I don't have much of an opinion on the subject, only because its way over my head. I see some good and reason on both side of the argument.

There is no denying how many Americans are without health care. Are we saying that they don't deserve a chance for health care. Have you heard the argument keep the government out of health care, is medicare so bad? I also agree that I don't want my tax dollars going to help others who don't deserve it. As days go by I am beginning to favor the some sort of the Presidents plan.

How do I fit in to the equation? I am a thirty year old employed man with a steady job. The company has a good health plan, they pay 50% and the balance gets deducted out of my pay check every two weeks. It really seems like a lot of money but I know how important it is to maintain. As it stands now I don't even see a doctor so its almost not worth it, but I will someday. This is always an issue for me. If I shopped for an individual policy it would be more than likely to expensive.

That's just me, what about others who are not so fortunate. Someone that has kids, middle class and self employed. I am pretty sure this is where Obama's plan will come into play. Some people say that its the Democrats against the Republicans or the rich against the poor. If I really had to choose I would say that reform would be in the interest of most people, I think its difficult not to.

I realize there are pros and cons to booth sides and that it will certainly work for the best. However it turns out those who are deeply angered can always move to Canada.
