In this final installment of our series, we delve into the crucial aspect of making it effortless for your customers to make purchases. We'll explore the various methods of accepting online payments, focusing on the ones currently in use and the reasons behind their selection.
The primary method of accepting online payments is through PayPal. Despite its drawbacks, the instant access to funds it provides is a significant advantage. The old adage, "time is money," is a principle that should be deeply ingrained in your mind.
Why is this so important? The key to rapidly multiplying your profits and seizing opportunities as they arise is having immediate access to your earnings. If you have to wait for weeks or even a month to access your money, you're missing out on potential sales. The initial stages of launching a new product, such as an ebook, are when you should be reaping the benefits.
Once your expenses are covered, at least 50% of your profits should be reinvested into advertising. This is a strategy that mail order dealers have been employing for years. If you want to consistently double your business, you need to reinvest half of all profits back into advertising. Cease advertising, and your profits will eventually dwindle.
With PayPal, you can reinvest your profits into advertising on the same day they're received. Consistently doing this will inevitably lead to business growth.
However, not everything is as rosy as it seems. Some marketers are unable to use PayPal. To cater to this group, a second payment option through Instabill has been added for buyers who can't use or prefer not to use PayPal.
But have we covered all bases? Not quite.
Don't forget to include your physical mailing address. Some buyers, for various reasons, are hesitant to provide their credit card information or feel more at ease sending a check.
Remember, your goal is to make the purchasing process as straightforward as possible for your customers. They have numerous other places they could spend their money, so don't make them jump through unnecessary hoops.
As a final point, it's advisable to include your email address on your sales page. This lesson was learned the hard way.
Fortunately, many of my customers already know me, so when unforeseen issues arise and their order isn't processed, they reach out to me for clarification.
I can only speculate on the number of sales lost from potential buyers who didn't have my email address. After receiving an email about ordering issues, I promptly added my email address to the page.
We've covered a lot of ground in these articles. Implement the ideas presented and get in the game. If I can do it, I know you can.
Here's to your success!
