Some companies will choose simply to send holiday cards thanking customers and clients for their continued business and wishing a prosperous New Year. Other organizations will choose instead to invest in promotional items as a way of both saying thank you and as a way of creating a reminder that will encourage future business. A promotional item is often one that the recipient will keep on top of their desk or in their immediate work area,Using Promotional Items for Holiday Remembrances Articles and so it can be a great way to firmly place your company’s name or logo in the minds of your customer.

Choosing appropriate promotional items to use as holiday remembrances is very important. Although you may send these items to your customers or clients around traditional holidays, it would often be inappropriate for them to have a specific holiday theme, as your customer or client may not acknowledge that holiday. If, however, your organization is specifically related to a particular culture or even holiday, it would then be appropriate to choose items that would connect. It may also be appropriate for your organization to choose a variety of promotional items to use as holiday remembrances, distributing them in a targeted fashion. This last option, however, can be time consuming and expensive.

If you choose promotional items that are non-holiday specific, there is a wide variety to choose between. Because you are not likely going to be giving these items directly to your customer or client but instead using a mail or delivery service, it is important that you choose items that are appropriate to your organization or industry and that are properly branded with your organization’s name and logo. Common promotional items used as holiday remembrances are coffee mugs, paper weights, picture frames, sticky notes, notebooks and lunch bags. To give your items more of a treat, you can also choose to send promotional items that are edible, but are in a box or holder customized with your company’s name or logo. Popular options for this are candies, nuts, popcorn, and coffee samples or snack trays. Giving your customers an edible reminder of your good relationship will often cement a successful future.

If you feel it would be appropriate for your organization to choose promotional items that do in some way tie to one of the holidays near the end of the calendar year, there are also many items to choose between. From ornaments, to Christmas trees to ham or turkey trays near Thanksgiving, there are many ways in which you can use promotional items to say thank you to those customers and clients who ensure the success of your business on a year-round basis.

Remember that no matter which promotional items you select to use as a holiday remembrance to your customers and clients, you must use your organization’s name and/or logo in order to create a lasting impact. Unless your company can be so closely represented by one particular item, your company name needs to be prominently displayed as a reminder of the good relationship you celebrate with your customers and clients not just during the holidays but throughout the entire year.
