When searching for the best network marketing opportunity for yourself,5 Things To Avoid When Searching For the Best Network Marketing Opportunity Articles there are a few pitfalls you wish to avoid. Sometimes, knowing wha you want is not enough. network marketing companies, as whole, takes a bad wrap. There are plenty of great network companies out there to choose from, but there are also a few things to avoid before selecting a company you wish to work for.

1. Does the Sponsor's nose begin to grow as he talks about his company?

When choosing a company, you will be in communication with someone who will sponsor you. There is a lot of hype involved with some of the pitch, sometimes. A sponsor will want you in his downline because you are an investment. Empty promises are something to look out for. If your sponsor can not do anything but talk the talk, then avoid the company or find someone else in the company to sponsor you.

A good sponsor will run the business based on integrity and honesty. Being a good sponsor means that everyone is the sponsor's downline gets full support and commitment from him or her. A good sponsor might talk a mile a minute and be enthusiastic about the company, but will not lie to you. Great sponsors will command the respect of the company and network under them.

If you are in doubt as to the integrity of a particular sponsor, ask to communicate directly with some of his downline team. If the sponsor puts you off, then move on. This would indicate that the sponsor has something to hide.

2. Does the company sound too good to be true?

In the network marketing industry, many companies seem to spring up overnight with the best laid compensation plans and products in the whole world. Wouldn't it be nice to become a millionaire overnight?

If it sounds too good to be true, then it probably is. Consider that many network marketing companies fold up within a couple of years. It would put you into a state of shock if one morning you went online to find your company was simply gone. All the time and commitment you put into your business would be gone very suddenly.

If you stick with companies that have survived for more than four years, then you are dealing with companies that are doing almost everything right. Network marketing is a great way to make a lot of money, but the newer companies are a risk.

3. Should you go with a company that says It's our way or the highway?

Finding a good company that is about duplicating good solid methods for success is one thing, but a company that insists everyone is imitating everyone else spells disaster.

There are many great Internet techniques that can generate great leads and sales for you to learn. Duplicating these techniques will ensure you a good income, but if you are not encouraged to be independent with some of your own twist on things,  it will discourage any creative input you might have.

4. Again, with bad sponsors...

Yes, again with bad sponsors. If you have verified and clarified everything with your sponsor, then join and find out the sponsor is not accessible to you, get out or find another sponsor. Life is too short to wait around for someone who makes promises but won't deliver.

5. What is your gut telling you?

The pitch has you dizzy with dollar signs in your head, but the company is brand new. Pay close attention to what your natural instincts are trying to tell you. Do not jump into something because you can't see past the dollar signs that are floating in front of your eyes!
