Allow yourself to dream big. Make a list of all the different goals and dreams you have in life, and then make a plan of how you are going to achieve them. Too often we hold back and forget our dreams, as we er so afraid of failure. But if we don't try, we will never reach any goal in life and we will then never experience real success.

Do You have Dreams
To start with you need to discover what your dream is. A great amount of people that I have a discussion with about achieving goals in life, do not have any other goals than accomplishing a risk-free lifestyle with a steady job and income. If this is what they really wish for I do not know. Perhaps that is what is going to make them happy, though I think that it is so imperative for people to allow themselves to dream and reach new things. When we dream we are filled with so much passion and enthusiasm that we get a powerful desire to really live. It fills our life with meaning and sense. And when we achieve some of our goals and dreams, we reach a point of great satisfaction and contentment. We need to be in constant development to feel pleased and fulfilled.
Afraid of Dreaming?
The Feeling a huge of amount of people is scared of, is being disappointed in them selves and not to succeed in life. So many of us think, that if we do not any big dreams and goals, then we will not be let down when we don’t reach them. So before we even begin planning our dream, we stop so that we do not have to go through all the discouraging and embarrassing feelings of having failed. This may keep us from ever achieving anything big, because the first and most important thing you need to be able to succeed, is to have a strong belief. You need to fully believe in your dreams and believe that they are possible to accomplish… even for you. But it takes guts to allow yourself to dream, as we tend to take failure very personal. But when we fail we grow and we just have to work harder or reflect over our decisions.
Planning Your Dreams
When you are determined that you wish to start working on some of your goals you first have to make your list of all the different things you would like to achieve. The dreams do not only have to be big things such as earning a lot of money, getting your dream house, travel the world, etc. Include everything your feel like you need. So if you have a personal goal like to stop smoking, learn to cook, sew a piece of clothing, paint a picture, etc, write them all down on your list. Always remember that there is not only one way to be happy. Each one of us has different goals and one must learn to listen to ones inner voice of what will bring them true satisfaction.
Now take a look at your list and choose one or two to start working with. It is completely irrelevant if they are big or small, but your have to make sure that they are quite specific. So if you for instant want to earn more money, write down the exact number of how much you want.
Beneath the goals you have selected you will write down all the many actions you must take to get there. So if your wish is to lose weight, what would you have to do. Well, you would of course need to exercise regularly and make a different diet plan. Then you may also need a way to feel motivated, and so you could join a group or get a fitness instructor to push you. You know what works for you, so write down all the things you think would help.
Now you will write a deadline for every action-step. So if you need to work out and go to the gym, write down the date you have decided to start this and how often you must work out, even write down the specific days, you want to exercise. Giving yourself a deadline can ensure you to actually follow through and achieve your personal goals.
