Most success stories begin with people having a clear vision of what they want. If that vision is crystal clear and they persist with unshakable faith then success is guaranteed. Used correctly, visualization can improve our life and attract success and prosperity.

Did you know that if you visualize success in your mind’s eye you will become a success?  All great success stories begin with people having a clear picture of what they want. If that vision is crystal clear and they persist with unshakable faith then success is guaranteed. Used correctly,‘See’ success and you will get it Articles visualization can improve our life and attract success and prosperity. It is a force that can improve our environment and circumstances, enable things to happen, and attract money, possessions, work, people and love into our life. It uses the power of the mind, and is the power behind every success. I do it all the time and it really works.

To explain this simple but powerful truth it is necessary to explain how we can get our conscious and sub conscious minds working together to bring this about. It has long been proven that if we use our conscious mind to influence our subconscious mind we can do almost anything and become almost anything we desire.  Thoughts, when powerful enough, make an indelible impression on our subconscious mind, which then changes our whole perception of things, and this brings us into contact with new people, situations and circumstances. Powerful thoughts automatically include vivid color pictures in our minds. We cannot think without imagining at the same time and the stronger the thoughts the more realistic the visions become. This thinking and visualizing when done with feeling has a powerful effect on our creative capacity. It shapes our destiny and attracts like situations, people and material goods into our lives. It communicates itself to other people who can help us achieve our goals and desires. It may appear like magic but it is a law of nature and also a well known fact that thoughts materialize.  The more our thoughts and feelings are colored with emotion the more powerful and effective they become.

To help crystallize our thoughts and feelings we should try to translate them into positive affirmations that we can repeat over and over again to ourselves either silently or aloud. We should select those affirmations that best reflect our sentiments and appeal most to our imagination. If necessary write out numerous lists of these affirmative sentences and whittle them down until you are left with the ones that appeal to you most. You will automatically choose the sentiments that will resonate with you most. So now you have your dearest wishes encapsulated in affirmative sentences, vivid pictures and colored emotion. This is a powerful cocktail, so beware! You are on your way to realizing your dreams and desires.

If you find all this a little hard to believe then recall what happens in life when the opposite happens. People who are pessimists and complainers invariably suffer the consequences and seem to experience the very misfortune that they dread. I am sure you can think of one or two of these people.

We have ingrained thoughts and mental images of all aspects of life. This is our reality and very often we believe we are stuck with this and have to make the best of it. However, it is only the way we look at things; it is our narrow comprehension of the way we think things should be. It is our illusion and firmly held belief. If we change the way we look at things through new mental images and affirmations we change our reality. We are not changing material things; we are changing our illusionary concept of things as we see them. We must convince ourselves that our circumstances up to now were based on our particular biased view of things.  If we can grasp this fact and realize that if we change that bias, we can in effect create a new and better reality and future for ourselves. We are not employing supernatural powers here, are we just profoundly changing the way we look at things.

Seeing new possibilities and outcomes will take a little time at first but with practice and patience will become like second nature to you. Visualizing new situations and circumstances is a very potent force and is almost without limitation. The only limits are the ones we ourselves impose. We do not have enough faith in the process so we do not think big enough.  At the back of our minds we may have doubts about its efficacy. The more open-minded and trusting we become the greater will be our opportunities and successes. We must dare to think big. I did and am I glad!

The well known saying “what you can see and believe you can achieve” can be confirmed by countless people. They find that when they use their creative visualization and affirmations good and positive things happen to them. Top achievers from sports people to business executives have used this powerful tool to help them reach and stay at the top.   It is an essential part of their success to visualize winning and it is as important as hours of study or gruelling exercise and practice.

By using visualization and affirmations we see ourselves succeeding and that will become reality sooner or later. The amount of emotion we conjure up and the frequency with which we practice will dictate how long before success is manifested.

By having very realistic pictures of our impending success we are in fact creating virtual reality. These realistic visualizations are accepted by our subconscious mind as being real experiences. Thus if we relax in bed and see ourselves having a perfect round of golf it will be imprinted on our subconscious just as surely as if we had been on the golf course. This successful experience will be stored in our subconscious and the more we have these ‘experiences’ the better we will become at golf. The doubts we may normally have about our golfing prowess will be swept away with this absolute confidence that comes from our deeper mind.

The golfing parallel is just an example that can equally be applied to any area of our life that we wish to improve. So what are you waiting for?
