If you are at all interested in self improvement or personal development, aim to get 'First things FIRST'. In other words, start from the bottom and work your way up. Suppose you came across a recipe, why would you start from, say, step 4? Self improvement is no different...
So, let's do things properly starting with the crucial first step!...
STEP ONE for more reasons then one, this is the most critical step there is, it has a major role in the thing we ALL crave out of life - Happiness! This step is important, but also the most difficult. This is when you build your life's values, these values have to be the right kind, they have to be ROCK SOLID values.
STEP TWO helps to fit your self improvement puzzle together. Ultimately, you MUST 'know', or have a theory, about what the meaning of life is. This helps you to shape your life. This is my theory on what life means - "Life is a never ending, 'roller coaster' journey of CHOICES and EMOTIONS". Ultimately, everybody wants happiness in their lives. Now for step three...
STEP THREE, requires you to find, or understand, what YOUR purpose in life is. Put another way, "what were you put on this planet to do?" Don't worry, this isn't as difficult or mysterious as it may sound, we all have tailor-made 'tool' for this job - Our EMOTIONS. Yes, it is true, your emotions can be your best friend or worst enemy, and sometimes at the same time! So ask yourself, "What are the things that makes me juiced about life?". Taking that further, ask yourself, "What FEATURES does my passion have that makes me juiced?".
STEP FOUR involves actually constructing your DREAM Life. This should stretch your self improvement capacity to the MAX, however fear not, this is very much attainable. This step requires you to use your identified features in step three AND GOAL SETTING, one of the most powerful personal development tools around ! Repeat this for all the different departments of your life. For example, Health, Career, Relationships, etc. All of this comes together and forms your very own, personal development plan. Onto undoutably the most EXCITING part of this whole process...
STEP FIVE - Live the life you've planed out inside of your personal development plan. In other words, start living your EXTRAORDINARY Life!
Naturally, there is a bit more to it than what I've covered, but hopefully you get the general gist of self improvement, and what's required to live your DREAM Life!
