Eye Shadows are an all time favourite for make up lovers. Make up is not complete without applying these wonderful things. In fact, it is this part of make up that is noticed the most when someone looks at your face. Since mostly people look at your eyes when you first meet them or talk to them. So why not make them presentable?

Eye shadows must be the only element of make up that has so many colours and options. You can have a black or even a white coloured shadow as well. Also,Correct Application of Eye Shadows Articles you can mix two or more colours and apply on your eyes for those shady looks. But at the same time it also means you need to pick the colour of your shadow carefully and not just end up applying anything. And if applied properly, eye shadows can pretty much change the looks and contours of your eyes.

There can mainly be two types of eye shadows and hence their techniques of applying are also different. One is a powder eye shadow and the second is a cream eye shadow. Both look extremely attractive only if applied correctly. People like mixing and matching the main colour of their clothes on their eyes for regular wear. If your dress has two or three colours, you can easily go for a mix of two colours. Just remember to put the lighter shade on top first and then cover the lids with the darker shade.

For office goers, you cannot usually apply brighter shades. The best shades to go for are cream, fawn, lighter shades of brown and some light shades of pink. Most people do not prefer wearing darker shades than these at work. But at other places and especially at parties, dark shades look trendy nowadays. And if you complete your make up with eye liner and mascara, then you would surely end up looking pretty much different than ordinary.

One more important factor is that you need proper eye shadow brushes if you want to make your application look neat. With improper brushes, the shades do not mix properly and look awkward. One of my all time favourite eye make ups for parties is those edgy styles, especially the dramatic style. Dramatic eye shadow style is all about shimmers and glitters and gives a different looks to your eyes altogether. This gives those cat-eyed looks and I just love carrying them, these are in vogue in the parties. The use of golden or silver eyeliners is a must in this style. So if you want to go for this, keep your entire make up kit ready.  I particularly do not like Gothic style since it is too much of black. It does look good on some people though, who can carry it well.  Bling is also another style for applying eyeliner shades but I find it difficult to apply. This is that one type of application which if not done properly looks out of place. This style also uses darker shades of eye shadows and uses golden liners as well to highlight.
