“Way above adolescence,
Still far from maturity;
lies my identity.”
Not mine but something I remember since long. And these lines summarise the Logan quite well. The Logan is an exciting car for the Indian market. However, Mahindra and Renault do not believe in starting things with a bang. While there is nothing wrong with the specs, everything seems to be walking the safe (?) edge of mediocrity. The engines look competent, but nothing to get enthusiastic about, the price is very competitive but then the Logan is blessed with a styling that is as hot as Reema Lagoo. Those straight lines and triangular tail-lamps are not going to win a beauty contest anytime soon. Not even in the colour black.
All in all, the Logan is competent but not something that will cause lost sleep or call urgent meetings at Tata or Maruti.
The next few months will be interesting, though not thrilling.

Maruti is 21
To its credit, Maruti today is as good, if not better, than the other players in the country in any competitive area, from capacity utilization to efficiency.Surveys, surveys and more surveys
MUL in the Indian market is perhaps the only case in the world of a market leader, that too with an unabashed 55-percent of the marketshare, sweeping the customer satisfaction surveys.Hyundai Getz
On a side note, the Getz TV promo is simply ludicrous.
