What Can the Pestilence Bring about?

Some days ago, I came across a little story on one magazine. A runner of a meat products shop in the United States named Jack read a piece of news on the newspaper, which told that there was a kind of epidemic disease going on in Mexico. This piece of news seemed to be insignificant. However, it inspired Jack to a creative marketing idea.

If this round of epidemic disease expanded rapidly in Mexico, then there was the possibility that the United States would be highly affected. The two states which were located near Mexico wouldn't be free from the disaster either. What's more important, the two states happened to be the main supplying base for the meat products in the United States.

When the epidemic disease caused great harm in a large extent, it was for certain that the supply of the meat products would be really short, for the epidemic disease was much like a kind of pestilence, according to the study of some experts reported in the newspaper. As a result, the price of the meat products would soar within very short time.

This was really a great chance to sell Jack's products if the report was valid. So, Jack sent his assistant to Mexico to have a detailed research on the epidemic disease thing and, what he did in his next step was to place a big order of the beef and the schweine into stock.

After one week, everything just went on as Jack had expected. The pestilence in Mexico spread to the mentioned two states in USA and the price of the meat products just rose a great deal immediately. Jack made great profits from the beef and the schweine in his stock.

The story above just teaches us a lesson that there always exists the advantages and opportunities behind the various crisis taking place every day. The key point lies in whether we have the eye for the active aspect of the crisis. Actually, it is also the same when it comes to the matters in our daily life.

We always complain about the unfortunate and failures we may encounter on our way forward, ignoring the invisible benefits and advantages. That is the very reason why we often feel depressed and discouraged.

Everything in this world has its two aspects, so are the obstacles or the disasters. What we need to do is to discover the profits they may bring to us, and to make the best use of it, not the other way around.
