2. Default password: password or 1234 for old Netgear routers

• And thereafter Go to “Advanced” and there he or she can find the option Port Forwarding / Port Triggering

• Then select a name for the service with small description which might include, web, camera or anything else
• The service type need to be set at TCP/UDP
• Then set the starting port as the port that the user desire to open and the ending port would stop that
• Then fix the server IP address would be the IP address that would like to open the ports on
• Then click Apply

However, once the settings are saved the user should then be able to test their port at the website www.portchecktool.com. Moreover, the user ISP - Internet Service Provider can also block certain ports which includes port 80, 25 and 21.
