Most people who enjoy tea see it as a moment of relaxation during busy day,Fair Trade Organic and Biodynamic Tea Articles a few moments to unwind and let your imagination soar where it might.  We think of places to visit, experiences to live, and the divine taste of the tea we are drinking.  This is why more and more people are looking for fair trade organic teas - the stories, the imagination, and the taste are so much better, more vivid, and more pleasurable.  If you're the kind of person who truly enjoys tea, you should definitely try Wabiblo's Shanti Tea.  Why?

First of all, fair trade ensures that the farmers who have cultivated the tea that you are drinking have been paid a fair wage for their work - that they are not only receiving payment for the tea itself, but are also paid a premium to ensure that they are able to look towards the future, to educate their children, and to enjoy their lives.  These farmers are not getting rich form fair trade, but they are feeling better about their lives because they are paid fairly and can look to the future.

Organic tea, on the other hand, is something that is very important to us, the tea drinkers.  Ensuring that there have been absolutely no pesticides used in the cultivation of tea ensures that we are not ingesting toxic chemicals, and that we are not causing out bodies any harm while enjoying our favorite tea.  Various studies have linked pesticide use to increases in allergies, cancer, and general health problems, and we want to feel safe and certain that we are not harming ourselves in any way.

And then there's biodynamic farming, which protects the environment itself - it ensures that foreign materials and processes are not introduced into a specific geographic region where they may cause problems with soil fertility, contamination, or anything else that would affect the long term cultivation of tea in the area.   Biodynamic farming is the most sustainable and natural method of farming and protects the environment where tea, and any other crops, are being cultivated.  Biodynamic farming of tea includes permaculture, where tea crops are grown amongst their natural neighbors rather than as a single crop in a large field.  The largest tea estate in India, the Makaibari Estate, cultivates their tea in its natural environment, and their tea farms look more like forest meadows than conventional farms.

We at Wabiblo understands these three important points and the intimate bond many of us share with our tea. We are a fair trade online shop and have just introduced our own line of fair trade, organic, and biodynamic teas called Shanti Tea. We stock a variety of different teas from around the world, and are dedicated to our customers, answering any questions quickly, and making great personal recommendations by e-mail.  As our slogan "rehumanizing trade" implies, we try to bring a human touch to the growing impersonal online world.
