There are many women out there who dream of getting a face lift. Young and old women look in the mirror and see the wrinkles around their mouth and eyes and imagine wiping it all away with a simple lifting of the skin. Yet,Face Lift: No Hassle Involved Articles when it comes to actually scheduling the appointment for a consultation with a cosmetic surgeon, many women hesitate. Why? For some women it is the hassle of finding the right time to schedule the surgery around their hectic lives.

Finding the right time is a genuine concern. Where would you fit in the consultation appointments, schedule the surgery and take time off from work. The good news is all three of these problems take care of themselves. The consultation need not take long and the surgery itself is relatively short. As for scheduling the recovery time, if you follow the doctor's instructions it'll be much quicker than you realize.

Consider fitting the consultation appointment in over lunch break. If you do your research ahead of time, you may be able to get in and out of the doctor's office in less than an hour. When you go in to visit with the doctor, expect to fill out some questionnaires. You'll need to answer questions regarding your health, well-being and reasons behind facial surgery. Your surgeon will want to speak with you about what to expect and take time to answer any questions you might have.

After you have met with your doctor and consulted with him or her about the surgery, you can begin the process of scheduling your appointment. Your surgeon or the staff of the cosmetic surgery office will assist you in finding the best block of time to schedule the surgery. The surgery itself only lasts a few hours and with the help of a friend or family member you will be home later that very day.

Most surgeons will suggest taking a few days off immediately following the surgery. Although the surgery itself is a basically simple process and recovering from it is nothing to worry about, there will be a bit of swelling in the few days following the face lift surgery itself. You may not want to be on your feet and will feel better laying down relaxing. Consider a long weekend or an entire week for the recovery. If you follow the doctor's orders your recovery will go smoothly.

So, if you have been hesitating to have a face lift because of scheduling conflicts or what you perceive as scheduling conflicts, wait no longer. The scheduling is not difficult. The consultation is likely less than an hour and the surgery itself last only a few hours. The most amount of time you need to set aside is for the recovery. Listen to your doctor's suggestions and you can have a quick and painless face lift and recovery.
