The upraise of graffiti styles is a trend of 1980s. Nowadays it has various styles of performance.

The art of graffiti has totally pulled in attention in 1970-1980s,Graffiti Styles Articles especially of America people, starting to notice strange paintings and pictures on the walls of buildings, in metro carriages and street lanes. This was a real outburst of urban culture, announcing of a new trend opposing to old-fashioned and elegant art of those years. Graffiti became a huge obstacle in preserving traditions of delicacy, sophistications and exclusiveness of fine arts. This street-art style was an essential recognition of young people’s minds and self-expression. Lots of them became real legends of graffiti artistic trend, which were accustomed to different styles. Particularly, 11 of them are distinguished. 
Blockbusters is an art of a group of writers, where each member deals with certain assignment - three-dimensionality, outline or illumination. This is the painting of giant letters.
Wild Style alerts an attention of passing by people with its unreadability and complexity. It is a dream of every writer to become a professional in this style.Computer Roc Style is a picture, where letters are bend and divided into several fragments.
Messiah Style is an invention of Vulcan, a New York writer. Graffiti is overwhelmed with paints, but letters seem to lay on each other.
Throw up is reflected by white and silver letters with outline. The priority is given to a speed of painting.
Dynamic style has originated in New York subways with a purpose to read them in motion.
CharaAter offers an idea of comics’ heroes’ depiction. Besides leading picture, one might observe frames with dialogues, bubbles, the other graffiti on the background, etc. It is a work of true artists usually, which leads to suspicion of several writers’ in collaboration while performing this painting. 
3D, FX, Daim style is a volumetric graffiti style. It is very difficult to implement, because it is performed in absolute volume, using light, shade and perspective, requiring a lot of paint. Such pictures are often seen on legal events, festivals and interior decorations.
Freestyle might be a set of several styles or made without adherence to any rules of graffiti. 
Camouflage style is a game of color and location of transitions of some letters in the other, the game of "loops" – letters’ linking. Style was invented by Spyder 7.
Bubbles was an idea of SyperCool graffiti writer as one of the first ones. He realized that replacing the cap on the can of paint to another one with larger jet facilitates painting over large areas rapidly. The name of the style is not by chance: the letters are drawn round and are typically bright, similar to the bubbles.
