This Hardwood Floor Stapler from Bostitch is pneumatic, that's to say that is powered by compressed air. The EHF1838K works at between 70 - 120 PSI and delivers 160 inch/pounds of force, sufficient to pierce even the thickest and hardest types of wood. It's magazine will carry 100 of 18-gauge staples of 1 and 1-1/1 inch, ideal for addressing most hardwood flooring jobs you'll likely get involved with.

The EHF1838K hardwood floor nailer can be varied depending on the thickness of the hardwood floor. The knob adjusts the stapler between 5/16" and 7/16 " for hardwood flooring, and between ½" and 5/8" for either bamboo flooring or engineered hardwood.
