If you are short on funds or your budget prevents you from buying a new memory foam mattress then you should consider buying a used one. To most people the thought of purchasing a used mattress is kind of gross. But new memory foam mattresses costs thousands of dollars and you can find a used one for less than $300. So you can buy a used one and clean it so that it’s just like new.

Here’s how to make a used memory foam mattress like new again:

-Take the mattress outside close to your outdoor water hose.

-Take an empty,Used Memory Foam Mattress? Clean It Up! Articles plastic spray bottle and fill it with one part Woolite fabric cleaner and 2 parts water. Spray the entire surface of the mattress with this solution and let it sit for thirty minutes.

-Once the thirty minutes has passed take the water hose and rinse the solution off. To remove excess water you need to fold the mattress over and push down, applying pressure to force the water out. Do NOT twist the foam or wring it out.

-Take the spray bottle and fill it with 1 part distilled white vinegar and 4 parts water. Spray this all over the surface of the mattress. Rinse it off just like before removing excess water with pressure.

-You can use an electric fan to help dry it more quickly.

That’s all there is to making your used memory foam mattress new again. With a few simple steps you can clean it and have it new and fresh just like you brought it home from the store.
