Because you are the face of the business your visitors will be hanging onto your every word so you do need to be careful about the tone of your blog and make sure your comments are not unwittingly misconstrued.
While there are many disadvantages of writing a business-related blog is in letting your pen run away with you and to give away too much information. The best advice I can give on this particular spot is ‘cover your back: don’t give away anything that could be turned to your disadvantage’. In other words, be careful what you write.
