Purple Cap: The purple cap award is given to the most wicket-taking bowler of the IPL 6 cricket match. Again, Dwayne Bravo of Chennai Super Kings held this honour being the most wickets taking bowler. He took 31 wickets in this season of IPL and also became the first bowler in IPL to grab 30 plus wickets in one season. Though after a defeat, in the final match also he took 4 wickets to his credit and stopped Mumbai Indians in securing a high total.

Yes Bank Maximum: This award is given to the player hitting six of maximum distance. Well! Who could t be other than the “Big Jamaican”? Chris Gayle in this season of IPL hit a total of 52 sixes, in which one that was the biggest was of 119 metres. Imagine the sheer power the big guy that among the best five longest sixes, four places are hold by him. Out of top five, only Mahendra Singh Dhoni managed to equal his fourth longest of 94 metres.
