Check the Game Updates

  1. First, launch the Blizzard application on your system.
  2. Thereafter, reach the Call of Duty: MW game and click on it.
  3. Then choose the Options button and then click on the ‘Check for Updates’ option.
  4. If there are any available updates, then download them.


Turn off Unwanted Apps Running in the Background

  1. Launch the Run prompt.
  2. You should insert ‘taskmgr’ in it and press the Enter button to launch the Task Manager.
  3. Beneath the tab of Processes, select the unwanted or CPU-intensive software and right-click on it, then choose the End task option.


Remove Temporary Files

  1. Firstly, shut all the windows on your system.
  2. Thereafter, hit the Windows and R hotkeys simultaneously over the keyboard to launch the Run prompt.
  3. Then input ‘%temp%’ in it and select the OK button on the keyboard.
  4. You should remove each file in the folder of temp.
  5. Once you complete the procedure, reach the desktop, select the Recycle Bin, and then right-click on it.
  6. You have to choose the ‘Empty Recycle Bin’ option.


Modify Priority Level

  6. Later, click on the Compatibility tab and mark the ‘Disable full-screen optimizations’ box.

  10. Afterward, mark the ‘Disable fullscreen optimizations’ box.
