How can you get the things you want in life? How can you get the love,How to Use the Law of Attraction to Get What You Want Articles health, money and happiness you want? Many people believe hard work will get the things they want. For some, that seems to work. But some people work sun up to sundown and still don't have the life they want.

Some people seem to have the Midas touch. They seem to attract wealth. They may even temporarily lose their wealth - remember Donald Trump's business bankruptcy? Now Trump's name is synonymous with wealth.

The secret may be the Law of Attraction. The Law of Attraction states: What you think about you bring about.

Years ago I had a friend who was having trouble at work. He told me how his company had been bought and they were probably going to have layoffs. I encouraged him to heed the warning signs and start looking for work.

What happened? He was laid off. We talked about what he would do next. "I worked for that company for 22 years. I'm not employable."

What happened? He did have a hard time finding work. After months he found a low-wage job, where he had trouble with his younger bosses. The last I heard of my friend, he lost his job and his wife threw him out. I wanted to stay in touch with him but had no address, and no phone.

From the beginning he seemed resigned that nothing would work out. And it didn't.

I have another friend I'll call "Jack", a divorced father of 2 teenagers. Armed with a year of college, he was the kind of man who made something of himself - he worked his way up to a management job.

One day, he returned from business trip only to come back to a pink slip - he'd been fired. What did he do? He took his severance and started his own company. It failed. He was out of money and he moved back in with his elderly parents. This was after he raised 2 children of his own.

At the time he said, "Sometimes I tend to be discouraged, but I can't focus on that." And he didn't. He seemed to KNOW he deserved better and was capable of better.

What happened? He took a job as a clerk in a store, then found another position. Now he's very successful, remarried, has 3 more beautiful children and owns a big house in a new subdivision. From the beginning he was convinced that he was a success, no matter what life threw at him.

Similar situations, different outcomes. Some people believe no matter what they do, nothing will work out. Other people believe that success is in store for them. Who's right? They both are. The Law of Attraction states that whatever you give your focus to manifests itself in your life. Most people focus on current circumstances, so their lives continue to manifest similar circumstances. The key is to focus on what you want to happen in your life. To manifest what you want, focus on what you want.

This is key: imagine how it feels to already have what you want.

If you want love, imagine how you'd feel experiencing a loving relationship. If you want health, imagine how you'd feel living in fitness. If you want wealth, imagine how you'd feel with abundant riches.

State what you want as though you have it NOW. Examples:

I now enjoy robust health and feel strong. It feels great. I now am delighted driving my brand new red car. I now gaze lovingly into the eyes of a kind, funny man and feel his love for me.

More than 100 years ago, James Allen said in As a Man Thinketh, "The soul attracts that which it secretly harbors; that which it loves, and also that which it fears." Deliberately decide what you want to focus your attention on. Focus on and imagine enjoying your desired outcome, and you'll attract your desired outcome.
