Hey there,Choosing the Best Boston Restaurant Part 6 Articles food enthusiasts! If you have been reading along through our journey around the streets of Boston you are aware of the challenges that come when finding the Best Boston Restaurant. This adventure has brought us to the discussion of a restaurant’s name, the host, the décor, musical environment, and the importance of a good drink menu. Now, we are all aware of the fact that being a foodie requires us to have keen senses and strong stomachs. In this edition we will be discussing the next topic of importance when filtering through the restaurants that Boston has to offer. The topic at hand is one that sets the tone for how your meal will turn out, this being of, course, the appetizers!

When dining out, usually with a group of my friends, I always like to start our meal out with a round of appetizers and drinks. Choosing which appetizers we will order is always easier than it sounds. Some of us like to pick on a few French fries and save room for the main course, while others like to order a few appetizers and consider that their meal for the night.

Some of the classic options remain constant at even the Best Boston Restaurant, other than fries, include buffalo fingers or wings, spring rolls, quesadillas, jalapeno poppers, fried green beans, and of course, nachos. The process of ordering appetizers is never easy; mainly because we like to base it on what we are all drinking, and if you read the last installment of this series you know that process could take what feels like forever! Once we have ordered, the real fun begins.

Getting appetizers is about more than a delicious way to start your meal; it brings you back to the fundamental lesson of sharing. We were all taught in preschool and kindergarten that sharing is caring and that if you don’t share, you are a bad member of society. This is why appetizers are so important, they allow us to practice that lesson and never lose touch with our inner child. While you are sharing your delicious starter dishes you are also able to catch up on all those lovely bits of gossip that were too juicy for text messages.

The appetizer course, as you can see, is about more than giving the kitchen time to prepare your entrées. It is about catching up with those around you that you obviously care a lot about (why else would you be eating with them) and about rationing out portions in a way that reinforces your need to be a functioning member of society.

This concludes our discussion on appetizers and how important they are to your dining experience as well as your social standing. Our conversations have given you many aspects to consider when looking for the Best Boston Restaurant but the most important thing is to keep an open mind and willing taste buds. You never know if that hole in the wall will be a hidden gem or the cause of regret, but such is the cost of being an adventurous foodie!

Our next topic of discussion will be salads, what they have to offer, and what they lack!
