Today, we will continue our talk about the sweetest, tastiest, most mouth watering part of a Back Bay Restaurant. I hope you brought your sweet tooth because we are talking dessert. The part of dinner we have been drooling over since we were wee little toddlers.

Today,The Perfect Back Bay Restaurant Part 8 Articles we will continue our talk about the sweetest, tastiest, most mouth watering part of a Back Bay Restaurant. I hope you brought your sweet tooth because we are talking dessert. The part of dinner we have been drooling over since we were wee little toddlers. We did all we could to save room for dessert, we tried them all: “Mom I’m full, what’s for dessert?” or the classic move of sliding your plate under the table for your dog to eat. Sometimes knowing there was a good dessert at the end of dinner was the only thing that got me to sit there and eat my vegetables. In the end I knew dessert would be worth it, so why should your experience be any different?

So what if we are a little older? We can still get excited about that yummy, sweet deliciousness at the end of dinner. A restaurant that truly cares about its patrons cares enough to offer them the best of desserts. This is one section where the flavors are endless, the choices are limitless, and the descriptions will put a smile on your soul.

Whether we are young or old the one tooth we never let the tooth fairy take was our sweet tooth. When I open that dessert menu, which should definitely be offered separately from the regular menu (makes for a better surprise, than if I saw them when I was selecting my meal), what I really like to see is a long list of different textures and flavors. Whether its ice cream, pie, cake, mousse, sweet breads, frozen or chilled deserts, hot deserts, I want options, I want flavors, I want toppings, and I do not want to leave disappointed!

If you offer ice cream, there should be sundae choices, deals to mix and match scoops, and the toppings should be endless. Snickers, m&m’s, mini marshmallows, sprinkles, Reese’s pieces, hot fudge, caramel, whip cream, and it would not be complete without a cherry on top.

If pie is the choice, I’d like at least two or three choices. The crust should be tasty not dry, or underdone and get all mushy in my mouth. I would like to be able to have a scoop of ice cream with my hot pie and this is an option at any quality Back Bay Restaurant.

Dessert is the sweetest part of meal, it should not leave you bitter about your decision to come to the restaurant or order dessert. If the dessert leaves a sour taste in your mouth, it is going to leave you with a negative attitude, and make paying that check even worse.  If the restaurant truly cares about you they will care about you coming back and leaving with a smile on your face craving more. So be sure to scout out your restaurant, glance at the dessert menu and make sure it is not a short quick list. This is a very special part to consider when choosing a Back Bay Restaurant, do not pick a restaurant that leaves you sour.
