I just heard the story of a man who hired a plumber to restore an old farmhouse. After he had finished a rough first day on the job he realized he had a flat tire which made him lose an hour of work; then his electric drill quit,Need A Solution For Trouble? Try This Breath Of Fresh Air! Articles and then his truck refused to start. As his customer drove him home, the plumber sat in stony silence.

Hmm…I wonder where this is going? Well, when they arrived at the plumbers home he asked his customer in to meet his family. As they walked toward the front door, the plumber paused briefly and stared at a small tree without saying a word. He reached out very tenderly touching the tips of the branches with both hands, took a deep breath and then the two of them walked inside.

Age Before Beauty!

After opening the front door, the plumber went through an amazing transformation. His tanned face lit up and he was ear to ear smiles. His customer, very curious, watched as the plumber scooped up his two small children with those big burly hands and then kissed his wife.

Afterward, the plumber walked his customer to the car. As they passed the same tree the customer's curiosity got the better of him. He asked him about the tree and what he had seen him do earlier.

Greater Love Hath No Man!

Oh, said the plumber, that's my trouble tree. He went on to say, "I know I can't help having troubles on the job, but one thing's for sure, those troubles don't belong in the house with my wife and children".

So, I just hang them up on the tree every night when I come home and ask God to take care of them. Then in the morning, when I leave for work, I pick them up again.

He said, "funny thing is, and smiled, when I come out in the morning to pick them up, there aren't nearly as many as I remember hanging up the night before".

As I read this story I thought of all the methods and techniques that I have used over the years to renew my mind. And, clean out the subconscious of undesirable thoughts that everyday troubles attempt to gain a stronghold over.

And, once again I realize that it's the simple things in life that can have the most profound affects. We have been programmed to believe that the bigger, the more complicated, the more expensive, the more difficult things and solutions are, the more valuable they must be in every way.

I mean everybody believes that more is better, right? Obviously, not in everything, because I've never seen anything that is right for everybody.

It Just Goes To Show You!

Well, I gave the plumber's technique a test and, here is what I learned. It's not the technique, but the attitude. I mean my Lord, you could go outside and rub every branch off of every tree in sight, till the crack of dawn, and not get remove one trouble. So, that's not the answer.

When I started to pick mine up the next morning, I stopped and said, whoa!! Dummy. Leave em there. And, I tell you something, sure it was symbolically, but it made my step a little lighter and my countenance a little brighter.

But, once you find your "plumbers tree" or, whatever you can relate too, and decide to make that your holding tank for the day's troubles, then you can inform your subconscious that all troubles are to be left there. Then, the next morning you can pick them up on your way out.

I believe it helps to make some sort of physical gesture to cause this to have meaning to your subconscious. Reach out and touch "it" or rub "it", whatever "it" is, just don't rub where you already got a rash; nah, I 'm kidding, and, mentally release it to your holding tank for the night.

Much Ado About Nothing!

Now, if you're the worrying type, I suspect you won't forget to pick em up in the morning when you leave. Cause, Heaven knows you need a few more things to worry about. Don't you get mad at me, I'm kidding.

Now, let's analyze this logically. Let's take our emotions out of it for a moment. All you have done is, find an object that you can relate to, a stump, or whatever, and rubbed it. Now, did that make the problem go away? No, of course not.

Then what did it do? Well, it might have given you a peaceful night's sleep; it might have helped you to not have indigestion after dinner; it might have even caused you to kiss your wife and pet your cat; In that order, and not reversed. :>)

Sealed With A Kiss!

Now,your subconscious can be your best friend or your worse enemy. And, it doesn't really care which. It has no preference one way or the other. It's there for your directions given through your conscious. And, you can train it to be your best friend and lover all the time and not just hit or miss.

And, it's very simple to train it but, it's not easy to perfect. If you ever slack off, you'll begin to lose some of the previous training. But, as soon as you stop, and head back the other direction, the good benefits begin coming back.

A Word To The Wise!

Here is something very important. This is not happenstance; it's not trial and error, the subconscious doesn't say, "ok, I'll forget that you decided to go negative for the last two weeks and give you some positive results anyway". Oh no, if you pull that stunt, your subconscious will tell you, you've got a face only a mother could love and hand you a square peg to put in a round hole.

Then you'll go spitting all over town saying my "trouble tree" don't work. You see, the subconscious knows exactly how the universe is supposed to work even though we don't, or, we forget. And, it always conforms to the laws of the universe even if it is to our detriment.

Yea, our own subconscious will keep giving us the short end of the stick, and then make us believe that sometimes you get to eat the bear and sometimes the bear gets to eat you. Here's what I think of that..
