Vampires don’t laugh – have you ever noticed that?

Sure,Vampire Fiction Loaded With Hilarity And Rock ‘n Roll – It’s Unholy War! Articles they’ll let out a sinister Dracula-cackle or a chuckle of irony – but you never see a vampire just laugh because they’re happy or because they think something’s funny.  And they sure as heck aren’t out to make YOU laugh…

At least not on purpose!

Yes, folks – being a vampire is SERIOUS business.  No funnin’ here!

Seriously?

I love a hard-edged slice of dark vampire fiction as much as the next guy – I LOVE Nancy Collins’ relentlessly pitch-black Sonja Blue novels, as a matter of fact.  You’ve got your favorites, too, I’m sure.

But the overall theme for vampire fiction is dark and generally unhappy.  Great fodder for compelling stories, but it’s not the end-all, be-all…

By focusing too heavily on darkness and general misery, authors (and you) are missing out on some fantastic opportunities for truly dynamic reads!

That’s where Unholy War comes in.  The Hollywood Vampires’ debut novel is jammed full of action, adventure, and mayhem… AND a healthy dose of humor.  These vampires joke, make fun of each other, and embrace the absurd – you’re getting a totally new experience in vampire fiction.

There’s also plenty of drama involved – Unholy War gets REALLY dark in places, and not everybody makes it out in one piece.  BUT…

The injection of humor keeps Unholy War dynamic and will hold your interest almost to the point of addiction!

You’ll whip through a pulse-pounding rollercoaster of highs and lows – one moment you’ll tear up at a tragic loss, and the next you’ll be laughing so hard you’ll have to put the book down!

When a story – and its unique, quirky characters – makes you laugh and feel good, it makes the bad times seem that much darker.  It helps you truly care about the people you’re reading about – you really FEEL it in your heart and in your gut.

It keeps you from getting jaded, and makes sure the story isn’t a predictable trip through a dark tunnel – you’ll enjoy the bright spots, and when the shadows fall… you’ll tense up with dread.

You’ll…

Chuckle as loveably-loony vampire guitarist Stacey chomps down on a pair of acid-heads and gets so loopy he thinks the Care Bears are stalking him.  But then you’ll…

Feel the pain when a dear friend is lost during the cataclysmic Battle of Los Angeles – rending the very soul of a gentle, loving vampiress.

War is hell – Unholy War doesn’t shy away from that.  The blood-soaked clash between the vampires of Hollywood and the old-world cultists of the Crimson Order isn’t pretty.  All the more reason to laugh it up while you can!

In the deepest of trenches and most hopeless of situations, soldiers find ways to laugh, to stay sane in the face of crushing adversity, and most of all… to stay human.

Humor is the lifeblood of humanity – and no matter what anybody else may say – vampires are still as human as you are, and they need to laugh as much as you do.

With their immortal lifespans, vampires see so much more horror and insanity than we do – being a vampire isn’t for the faint of heart.  If they’re gonna make it through even a century, vampires NEED to laugh – releasing that tension is a MUST.

It’s an angle you usually never see in vampire fiction, and one that needs to be finally explored in the 21st century.  We’ve seen endless romance and mountains of angst – it’s time for vampire fiction that makes you laugh and smile… in between delivering fistfuls of action and adventure!

Allow me to ask you…

When was the last time vampire fiction made you honestly laugh out loud?  Even once?

With Unholy War, you’ll be laughing over and over again – so when something horrible happens, your stomach will fall right out and leave you breathless.  You’ll truly FEEL IT.

Humor adds a dynamic element to vampire fiction you’ve been missing out on!  Come experience it for yourself at…
