Articles Factory adding a Marketplace Fee for every offer you are publishing to our clients. The Marketplace Fee consists of a Service fee and a Payment processing fee where applicable. If your offers are free, you don't pay any Marketplace Fees. The Marketplace Fees vary per Tier Level. You can view your Tier Level and Marketplace Fee assigned to your offer at the particular Website page.

Articles Factory has several Tier Levels for our Publishers:

  • Free Trial: has no any Marketplace Fee
  • Tier 1: has 50% Marketplace Fee, with a minimum markup of $10
  • Tier 2: has 40% Marketplace Fee, with a minimum markup of $8
  • Tier 3: has 30% Marketplace Fee, with a minimum markup of $5

For example:

  • If you have a Tier 1 and your offer is $9, and since 50% of $9 is less than $10, the Marketplace Fee will be calculated as $10 (as 50% of $9 is less than the Tier 1 minimum of $10). Therefore, the final price for your offer to the Buyer will be $9 + $10 = $19
  • For offers within Tier 1 priced at $25, the Marketplace Fee will be calculated as 50% of $25, resulting in $13 ($12.50 rounded up). Consequently, the final price for your offer to the Buyer will be $25 + $13 = $38
